This was a special request for a birthday gift that we enjoyed crafting. The capitol is cut and placed in a shadow box that is built especially for it. The shadow box measures 3" deep by 15" tall by 24" wide. The capitol and the shadow box are made of 3/4" Red Oak with a glass door that opens for cleaning or for you to add a personal touch. The capitol has over 500 individual cuts that takes many hours to do. If you enjoy fine craftsmanship we know that this will give you many years of enjoyment that can be passed from generation to generation.
